It later merged to become Thai Airways International. Thai currently provides the fastest direct flight from South East Asia to the East coast of the United States, using the North Pole path from Bangkok to New York.

Royal Orchid Plus
Royal Orchid Plus is Asia’s leading frequent flyer programme. Royal Orchid First Class

For those wanting to maximise their transit time, there are writing desks, a private office and boardroom for meetings, fax, and communications facilities. First Class passengers are also called from their lounge and accompanied by special unit staff to transfer to the gate just a few minutes before departure.
